Vrede en Lust has stood at the foot of the Simonsberg since 1688, its white gables looking across vineyards towards the Drakenstein mountains. The estate is one of the Winelands’ most practised wedding venues, moving couples from lawn ceremonies to receptions overlooking the vines. Heritage architecture, mountain light and wine made metres from the table.
